The Adani Group has plans to invest $1.8 billion dollars to turn it into a "new gateway" to Maharashtra. It is interlinked with a number of industries across the world. It is built to serve oil, chemicals, containers, and bulk cargo. It has excellent road connectivity and harbours berthing facilities, warehouses, liquid tank farms, and open stockyards for various commodities. It houses a number of workers for construction, fishing, and other activities daily.
“Oizom’s continuous meteorological monitoring instrument is very useful to us for knowing short-time period changes in atmospheric weather such as temperature and humidity. This is very helpful to us to study its rain and wind flow at ports.” - Mr. Nandu Suthar, Senior Engineer, Adani Ports
